Annie-Lou Leibovitz





Annie-Lou Leibovitz was born in the late 1940's in Connecticut. Her father was an air force lieutenant and her mother a, modern dance instructor. In 1967 she enrolled in an at school in San Fransisco. She then briefly lived in Israel and returned to the US to start her life.  She began her career in 1970 working for  Rolling Stones Magazine. The editor liked her worked and hired her as a photographer. It didn't take long for Annie to get promoted to chief photographer for the magazine. She stayed for another ten years and then moved on to Vanity Fair. There she takes pictures of celebrities and idols. Though her pictures are often controversial, she has had many a photograph grace the cover ofthe iconic magazine.
